The networks call Ohio, and that completely closes down any possible McCain path to the presidency.
On the other hand, the road to 60 votes in the Senate is looking pretty tough for the Democrats. Franken might pick up the seat in Minnesota, which would be great, but I just can’t see any of the Southern trifecta (Mississippi, Georgia, Kentucky) going blue.
Which means the real big question at this point is the propositions in California. If you live out here and haven’t turned out to vote against Prop 4 and 8 then hit the polls right now. If you’re in line when the polls close, you’ll be allowed to vote, no matter how long the line is.
