Corruption has consequences, apparently

He Was Gone – Gladshot

Well, who would have guessed. William Jefferson, the corrupt Democrat from Louisiana (you know, the one found with $90,000 in his freezer) managed to lose his bid for a 10th term last night. Speaking as a partisan Democrat, I have to admit I’m pretty pleased. As I said last month, even though I think the institutional effects of government mean partisanship should usually be prioritized over modest differences, cases like this are pretty clearly beyond the pale.

Good job electorate. Now I just hope that in two years time the primary voters pick a candidate who is a little less corrupt and we win back this heavily Democratic district.

Gladshot have a record called Burn Up and Shine.
